I have not, but from the looks of his work and his prices, someone to keep an eye on. May try to pick up one of his to judge for myself.

I know I am cynical, but if they are that good, then they should/would cost more.

His feedback is good. The completed auctions, the prices realized are probably lower than what they should be for...
Handmade knives that look great

So I say,if they are what they are, great looking handmade k nives, all the buyers seem to like them,If he can make knives consistently good ...

WHY USE 1095 ?

Don't they use that for shovels & stuff,too ??

I think if I did a local knife show and had a few of those they would def. sell good.

Who here wants to be the tester piggy ? LOL

C'mon now, don't go knocking 1095. Pretty darn good carbon steel. grin

What carbon steel does Randall use?

I would imagine the prices would climb quite a bit when he gets into 154-CM and such.

It rusts looking at it
I've had a few,you can get them nice & sharp but they dulled easy, for me,anyhow.

Some of his knives sold for under $70. I can't figure this out I probably will bid on one just to see whats what

Randall Made carbon steel knives are still 01.

I like 1095 though, a lot. For an everyday knife, it is hard to beat a well heat treated knife of 1095. Rowen, the folks that make the ESEE knives, have it down pat. I'd stack any of my ESEE knives against just about anything out there, when it comes to hard use.

Randall uses 01 tool steel .

Why would he use something that would dull easy and put so much work in the handles.

That is an awfull lot of knife for the money. Hell, the sheath looks to be worth the cost of the entire set. I'm leary but would love to see one in person. Somebody go first !!!!!!!

They're mostly gone now, with the exception of a couple of sword looking blades, but they look like kit knives to me. I didn't see much in the description, but the swords are also 1095 and I just had the perspective that they look like blades someone is putting handles on. Nothing wrong with that, but not quite a true custom if that's the case.

Got the kinfe today and it is definately not a true custom product. Import blade most likely, cheap leather, bulky handle and medium fit and finish (could have wiped the buffing compound off the brass). Although, for $100, I've spent a lot more on a lot less. A $50 hunter /skinner would probably not be the worst knife you ever bought !!

At first glance thought these might be made by the same outfit (similar style and last initial) but a few click mouse clicks confirms they definitely are done by a different maker.

Regardless, Bill at Michigan won't carry junk and these look like a heckuva dealio...

I bought a couple on eBay. Came pretty quick...direct from Pakistan.
Now he is a little more sophisticated in his deception. Claims that made in America is valid because "some stages of assembly" are done here. Yeah, right.

Well AA blades posted his findings , and he is a custom knifemaker who builds fine knives I might add.

These knives might have their place for some one , at the least for learning tools.

I hear Pakistan has wonderful steel of the highest quality and their pride in craftsmanship is unmatched. I can't remember the gentleman's name who told me. He had an interesting accent and his name was L something nrt something, oh well I'll try to think of it later.

My testimonial:

I have been buying and selling RBH Custom Knives For four years now. I have also been installing burglar and fire alarms for over twenty five years. In my business you have to be perfect on a 100% scale and if you are not a false alarm will occur and anybody that owns a burglar alarm knows this is very bad police are dispatched fines are levied and customers pissed. Because of this anything under perfect is unacceptable. So this brings me back to RBH Custom Knives. The quality and beauty is amazing I have purchased over 60 of his knives and the only problem i have ever had was with a couple of sheaths the snap button that holds the knife did not work proper and one came apart but I found no reason to bother rich with such a minor issue and i just put a new snap on from hobby lobby. but every knife was perfect the workmanship is always outstanding and solid nothing has ever been of variable grade as I researched I found a few of old and misleading threads on different Knife and sword Forums so i went ahead and asked the man himself That is Richard b Henn and here are our corresponding emails and his response:

Piss off wanker, and stick your fukcrapistan rubbish up your arse whilst you are at it.

And the next time you are trying to pass off rubbish you may want to get someone to proof-read your supposed emails.

Came across another batch of RBH crap knives on eBay the other day. Still claiming made in USA going after unsuspecting buyers. I am not a knife maker, but it really irritates me that eBay lets him get away with fraudulent listings like that.
It is also fishy that his facebook page location is Guithre, OK, eBay shipping from Pennsylvainia and he claims he is from R.I. I see he went to selling his crap with private listings. I suspect so that you can't see that most of his sales are from shill bidding.
BTW, given so many lies, why would you trust what kind of steel HE says is used.

the guy is a fraud and a cheat...PERIOD! They are made in Pakistan and ive received DIRECT SHIPMENT FROM OVERSEAS WHEN I BOUGHT HIS KNIVES IN THE PAST! He has changed his name a few times on ebay every time he gets caught. I cant believe people are goofy enough to really think this guys knives are really made in the USA! Too many people that have outed this mook with direct shipments from overseas, so its not a questions anymore as hard facts are hard facts!
