HARRINGTON & RICHARDSON MODEL 686 .22 MAGNUM CAL SINGLE/DOUBLE ACTION REVOLVER. 4.5" BARREL BEAUTIFUL CASE COLOR RECEIVER, DEEP BLUE CYLINDER AND BARREL. CYLINDER DOES NOT SWING OUT BUT IS LOADED LIKE A SINGLE ACTION REVOLVER. THE CYLINDER IS REMOVED BY REMOVING THE BASE PIN AND REMOVING THE CYLINDER FOR CLEANING.SMOOTH WOODEN GRIPS. THIS FIREARM IS PERFECT WITH NO VISIBLE WEAR ANYPLACE. BRIGHT BORE TIGHT ACTION, ADJUSTABLE REAR SIGHT, TRANSFER BAR SAFETY. No box/paper:what you see is what you get.

Is this a collectible pistol? I know nothing about them or when this was made. I'm familiar with the old Ruger Super Single Six 3 screw combo's, but this seems a little higher priced, so I'm guessing collectible. Thanks for the clarification.

Look at the cycl and see if it is recessed or not,please post if

is or isn;t. I have 676 that is non recessed and will fire

any 22 cal round made(the 22mag most accurate)but a great SHTF

pistol.

I would say it's recessed.It's now on Gunbroker (22 mag revolvers)
