The Litehunter is S30V and Honduran Rosewood Burl with Stainless Mosaic Pins, I did 'swither' about Desert Ironwood, but as I had a matched pair of custom knives built last year with DI scales I decided to go with something just a little different. By the look of the picture I shall not be disappointed.

Thanks to everyone for the feedback and alternative ideas, which all conspire to keep me poor. smile

You're going to love that #7!!! IME more people comment on my 7's as being traditional hunting knives than any other model. Even a Dozier fan could love it... grin

DO post pics,,,

I agree the #7 is a great all-around design. It balances very well.

Roy, that's my "3rd time's a charm" Dozier. (I had 2 Yukon Pro Variants before it.) Yukon Pro blade with less belly and more point, .125" vs .135" stock, and a Straight Hunter handle...best pure skinner I've ever used...and that would be a few...

Tikka260 and Cheesy,
I was using my phone to post yesterday and both those knives looked great. Today, on my retina display, I gotta say they are WAY BETTER than great! Congrats both...
