Here is pic of Savage 210 12GA FH- Note heavy
barrel and the barrel band setup that handles
recoil great. Please let us know if picture comes
up or not. Ed.

where is a T-rex when yah need one? seriously cool rifles but way to much power for me i would think. though they might do for a rabid charging squirrel got any video of some one touching off one of those cannons? i would REALLY be interested in seeing it along with more photos of that savage. really not my kind of rifles but they are extreamly cool.

Ed~Been gone for a few days, so I'm sorry for the tardy reply. I ran the numbers again with 320gr of powder and the recoil starts at 154 ft-lbs and goes up to a bit over 200 ft-lbs. Lots of recoil!! I'd love to shoot that thing if I was ever in the area.
What modifications were made to the 210 action to make it feed and eject those monster cartridges?

BJ72--I just run it as single shot. And take cases out
manually. Original extractor works perfect. Will build an
ejector down the road. And those loads are my top one you
calculated...Most of
all our shooting with 730 gr hard lead to final form cases
is in 23-2500 range.We did max load of 2700 only 3 times.Ed.

Great mousetrap rifles. Put cheese in the chamber, when the mouse runs in the muzzle plug it with a cork.

That is one beautiful fire arm!!!!!!!!! It is great to see some one experimenting like this,, as long as I don't have to test fire them.

A few have really taken a shine to the cartridge,
planning on converting to our long brass..three
quarters of my cases are gone to others. In talking about
legal stuff I am telling them to mark barrels
"12 GA 3 3/4" --as most 12ga are marked with whatever
length they are. What are you folks thoughts on that?Ed.

This is awesome. I'd love to build something like this. How long did it take?

I think I speak for many here... your project has BIG appeal. I would really like to partcipate in a project like yours. Who wouldnt wnat their very own shoulder cannon!?

But I was wondering if you guys would sell one of your cartridges. I have a small and not very important collection of rounds but when I saw your cartridge I said, Man I'd like to see that in person, the pictures do NOT do it justice at all. I wonder if they's sell me one? email---sam@icm.cc

Paul--it took us a couple years, but with cases around with rims on, you can make one in few months.Getting actions, barrels, heavy stocks takes doing..if you can do your own
assembly, chambering etc, it goes faster.

yogiman-I'll contact you this weekend..I like to sell pairs one with 730gr Dixie slug and one with 750 gr bridger
banded solid,No live primer or powder...20 bucks including shipping.Ed.
