I bet it just ate the cat that used to sleep under there.

This year's archery bull. Many will believe I was beach hunting in Montana but this is the first bull that actually ran towards the truck. Not the greatest arrow placement but had the intended effect as it hit vitals.

Colorado two weeks ago. It was snowing when I shot him and it took 1-1/2 hours to get across the canyon to him.

Nice elk! Apparently though his vitals are in the opposite end from elk around where I hunt...

Having bowhunted the high country for years, that is probably the most beautiful photo I have ever seen, for so many reasons.

No doubt I had many forces working (long story). The photo shows the arrow as it was working its way out. It actually was buried past the knock and hit several vital organs. He expired nearly immediately.

This one was from a few years ago, He was very civilized and lay down nicely in the cut hay field that I stalked him in.

Well, a few weeks before my hunt, I posted in this thread that I hoped to be adding to it. So, here's my contribution. He was trotting through timber and my first & fatal shot hit him just as he was at the dead pine branch on the ground. Looks like he dropped to his knees and slid til he hit the tree he's resting against.
