They stayed here all friggin' winter. Never seen anything like it. Now they up there with you, or at least spread out across the small streams and pond that have just iced out, looking for nursery rooms to be.

geese are a pain, Angostura opened up a couple weeks ago, saw a boat out there yesterday. still awfully low, Jr. water rights people are already cut off for this year from what I heard. fire danger is expected to be high. this will be a hold onto your seats summer me thinks. I have the day off so I am doing spring cleaning and enjoyin the down time

We are melting snow fast. 48 yesterday and "really nice" today. smile

The dang battery was dead in the explorer today. I haven't used it all week. I've been using the Neon since it's such a gas miser. It could have something to do with the remote start, I'm thinking.

I was playing football in the street with Jack (too much snow in the yard) and we saw a flock of geese were flying over.

48* here, now. We may hit 50* for the first time this year. Too bad the university is on spring break. There would be 50 degree parties going on.

Back in the dark ages it was the custom when the temp hit 50 to jump off the bridge in Iverson Park into the Plover River. Alcohol was normally involed. I am living proof that it can be done. crazy

Okay folks, I need some help from the creative side of your brains! Yes, I do realize I prolly cant fill a thimble with the collective creative smarts here, but my creativity isnt even visible on the head of a pin!

I am thinking about starting a company and need a name for it. I would like to name it something that sounds mountainy, animaly, woodsy, etc. The best thing I have so far is Elk Meadow Enterprises. The name should be generic so it can be used for anything. Maybe something more scarier...Grizzly Mountain Enterprises? Help please!

Alptimbermoosebattle Enterprises ?

Bear timber explosion mountain Inc. ?

Savage rock hammer elk bomb valley services ?

You really should use Hammer, Bomb, Battle or Carnage in the name.

Well, I can see our creative juices are really flowing today....or not so much. Sure, carnage instills exactly the image I want to portray....on second thought... eek

I am thinking I might exclude beaver from the options. just sayin'.

Name it something that will google well. Whatever you are going to sell, folks need to know exactly how to google when they first know that they want it. Probably needs to have something about what your product does or is to make that work.

This sort of advice really shouldn't be free.

We should start a consulting bidness.
