The one and only Chevy I've ever had....I'm not sure the light was ever off? But it was mostly always broken so who knows? In case you can't tell, I'm still bitter about it. smile

I've been up at my dad's place the last few days to work on my 78 F-150. It's been awhile and I've kind of got the spark back to work on it. I can see the light at the end of the tunnel now and that probably helps.

I got new exhaust put on my red truck today and the boy kid is pouting because it's quieter, not louder. grin He's got a bit of his Grandpa in him. laugh But I like it because I can hear inside the cab of the truck again. The old exhaust was completely shot so it was loud.

RIP General Swarzkopf.

What a sad bit of news.

I'm so proud to be able to tell my children that I met you.
May god keep you close, you big mean bastard... Sir.

I too was saddened by the news of the death of "Storming Norman".
He really understood how to fight in the middle east.He knew the people.I liken him to Dwight Eisenhower.

My biggest worry for Stormin Norman now is that our history and our schools will not carry his story correctly. Because we've lost our spine, we're too PC and "tollerant" to tell it like it is, to tell it like it was.

RIP General Swarzkopf.

I was pretty young when he was running the show, but I remember thinking the was a heck of cool guy after watching an interview with him on one of the morning news shows.

And I've heard a story about him that concreted that thought.

Eat 'em man! smile Northern Pike is some of the finest eating fish you can get IMO. Like Tony Dean from Tony Dean Outdoors used to say "I'll take a northern over a walleye any day. A walleye just tastes like what you put on it"

I don't know if I'd go THAT far but I sure don't dislike northern. I speared two yesterday and one today. The boy missed two. (His first time out) They are not real big so I'm going to keep saving them up until I get enough to make a big batch of pickled fish. YUMMY!

Dave - When do you think you'll have the stabbin cabin out and where are you going to put it? I'm assuming LOW is way too cloudy?

One bad thing about spearing. You can't spear and release.

some black paint on the skid.

Big loops in the back to lift with a handi-man jack if it should freeze down. Also some skate plate sections welded to the insides of the runners in back, to help it track straight.

Now pickled would be good. I got to hang here more often....the general forum has been infested by freaks as of late.

Right on both accounts!

You really want to try something GREAT that will make almost any MN guy cry? Try pickled walleye. It's damn fine eating.

I like that photo bomber ND!
