I've never duck hunted, I'm afraid to try...I'll go broke. Nonsense! You just tag along with guys that have a rafter full of decoys!

What's he running for a plow? Maybe a gift card for somewhere nearby where he gets his equipment serviced or buys parts. He's running a newer John Deere tractor with a loader on the front and at least a 7 foot blower on the back. For what I could afford to get for a gift certificate, he'd MAYBE be able to buy a "Diesel Fuel Only" decal at the local JD dealership. This guy is not hurting for money by any stretch. In fact, they throw a bash twice a year in one of their big sheds that are attented by 100 - 200 people. Live band, pig roast and all the booze imaginable. All FREE to everyone that comes. They even hire designated drivers for the night. Maybe I'll just offer to help out over there if he needs it. He owns and farms a TON of good hunting land and he don't hunt. Win win?

Yep. Great idea. Just don't be one of the designated drivers.

Make sure whomever you tag a long with is a good caller too. I have a buddy that can turn a leary flock of honkers around on a dime. Its fascinating to watch. I rarely hunt waterfowl but it sure is fun when it's "on"

Hey dont sell MN pheasant hunting short. I have a 70 acre piece that we shot 25 roosters on this fall and a 140 acre piece we shot 20 on. Both had plenny of roosters at the end of the year. Find good habitat and you can shoot some birds.
Hey Ryan, you want some free candy??
I have started doing more and more waterfowl hunting. Kinda fun and I have this itch now to buy decoys....but I cannot call ducks or geese worth a dang. I am horrible at it.

I'll pass on the candy!
I found 11 shed horns today while mowing, one set was 3" spikes laying almost touching, thinkin they might need to go on a hat in chickenbuck fashion!

Mowing? My mower won't see sunlight until April.
We're in for more snow late Thursday into Friday.

For those of us that are ignorant of the pheasant's forever lingo, what does that mean?

As in you had to MOW grass? Or have you just had to much of that delicious looking wine that you think snowblowing is mowing grass??

Me and Nate took ole yeller out to chickenbuck tonight to open the winter trail.
It took 5 hours.
Never pushed that much snow before, that was a new record.
We didn't spend a second of those 5 hours stuck, or resting, or goofing around.. it was 5 hours steady of crushing snow.
We did stuff with that 43 yr old pickup that you're not suppose to be able to do.
I'm wore the hell out, that old truck is awesome, but it doesn't drive itself lol!
Chickenbuck winter camp is open, snowmobile paradise. There is a LOT of snow out there.
Something clever here.

we finally got snow! must be 1/4"! might see a half by noon, we'll see if this onslaught continues. Yes I was mowing, alfalfa food plots actually, couple fields are native grass seedings. I use a large landpride batwing mower. I have another 20 acres or so to do today, we'll see how the weather holds. we only get about 15" of precip a year down here. winters are usually pretty mild, been in the low-mid 30's for the highs this week, was in the 40's and 50's last week. quite a bit different from ya'll

Nothing to do with PF. I got a small wooden box that my boys like to tell people is full of candy. Then, when they open the lid, a fake mouse comes out at their hand. It is pretty funny watching their reactions. You have to hold the box or the box would be flying almost every time. One of my 4 year old boys especially loves it.

Dave, just think what ole yellow would do with a V plow.
We're in line to pick up around 6" Friday/Saturday from the storm that's hitting the plains today.
