You know, I wasn't planning on bow hunting this year. But I've been sniffing around a bit and it sounds like there are some opportunites to bow hunt a wildlife refuge and some city areas here. I'm going to try to get in on some of those. One is real close to my house it's a huge area too. The neighbors don't seem to mind if I whack one or two around here either.

We're getting hammered with storms again tonight. This is nuts.

we got pounded by rain last night too. today is my last day of work at the refuge I'm gonna miss working outdoors all the time. but school is right around the corner and in december I graduate! finally!

Getting ready to dump here right now. We're also under a flash flood warning. We picked up another inch of rain here yesterday.

NW part of state is getting hammered as I type this.

We're going to have to put the deer shack on pontoons. Word is that the fish have been seen in life boats.

We must live on sand because it's pretty dry once the rain passes. We have a sprinkler but it's only been on for the first week we lived here. Haven't needed it since.

We missed out on any rain last night, did have a nice buck right by the house again. Take that Tzone, this one had a rack! boys put some chum out last night for him too. Going to Reel him in. Just need a live trap!

Yeah, still on vacation, it's starting to stress me out. I had an interview with a placement service on monday. He said it's slowest he's seen it in the civil engineering field.

I applied for a few jobs with the dot today too. I spend 2-4 hours a day looking for jobs. It gets frustrating. Something will come along but it should hurry up.

I'd suggest working 24/7 right through hunting season, just to "make up " !

it'll come soon! the bad part you'll get a job right before hunting season then not be able to go. The stanley cup is coming to town on sunday, too bad i'll miss that and be in the cities instead.

NOT FUNNY. I have quit jobs for that reason. I was in high school though.

Returning from breakfast this morning and met a pickup with a snoplow on it. Does someone know something?

No snow here, but it sure feels like fall today. Beautiful,about 75* and not humid.

Took the kid to a swap meet/ car show in St. Cloud today. didn't buy anything. It was a day of almost's... I almost bought a 4 wheeler for the kids, and I almost bought a 67 Bronco. Real close on that one, but I think mama wudda taken up shooting if I brought that home...damn close though.

Down in the low 50's with a light breeze last night. Fall is near.

we were in the 40's.

is summer over now?

It sure feels like it eh? No fears, weather man says summer is comming. 85* and humid here by the end of the week.
