I bet they'd eat chili. I seen a trail cam video of a deer eating a bird. Might have been on this site? So I bet they would eat chili.

Rooster, actually more north. Just follow the alleneghy all the way to rt 6 and he'll 2 mile west, park at the parking area and head right the mountain. We are right outside go Youngsville, so close that we hear the fire siren went it goes off. That is really neat country out there. I heard the hills are like a swarming ant pile of orange though come deer season.

5 hours of cooking for 15 minutes of eating. There was about 3 pieces of potato left. We're all stuffed and ready for a nap.

I have deer sausage and ground pork thawing.Large peppers from my friend's farm and cut open, cleaned, washed and ready to be stuffed with the meat mix after I season it and then put the stuffed pappers on the grill.Did some last week and they were great. The seasoning is worchestershire sauce, salt, pepper, minced onion,a wee tad of Tabasco and gourmet burger seasoning. My wife came up with this recipe and it really really makes the meat outstanding when it is cooked in the pepper.Incidentally these are not hot peppers. They are bell pepper grade of tasty although they are long and look like hot peppers. I'm leaving in a few minutes to go deer hunting for the evening.Wearing my new Chickenbuck shirt and hat.Film at eleven.

Can't wait to see that film Stan. Good luck sir!
When you cook the peppers, do you cook the meat then stuff them? or is the meat put in the peppers and then all cooked at once on the grill?
The seasoning sounds great!

Just put a Williams peep on the .50 encore.
Ready for MZL season.
Plus I "winterized" the cab of the yellow truck with some weatherstripping, also did some brake work. But just as we were getting good pressure to the rear brake cylinders a line burst. Luckily I had new lines, but then we ran out of fluid and I don't feel like going back to town tonight.
I'll get some in the morning and we'll hang the snow plow on the truck before the snow starts.

How far are you from town, Dave? Us yuppies down here in the city get pizzed if we have to go all the way to the store which is all of 5 minutes from home. (Hey man, that's a long ride when the cappuccino's not ready for the trip!)

Well another day in plow truck tuning. I sealed up the cab really nice with weatherstripping and ..... spray foam in a can. I set the choke, tuned the carb, shortened the throttle linkage so yeller can get a full pull on that carb with the peddle. Holy smokes she runs nice! Starts excellent cold too and just sits and idles with no fussing. We bled the brakes and set up the shoe tensionors, she's got really nice brakes now. Plow is mounted, box is bolted to the frame... It's all good, we're more ready for plowing than we've ever been before.

we got wind here like you wouldn't believe. I saw whitecaps in the toilet because we got so much wind. it's crazy windy.
Happy Thanksgiving all! I made pheasant gravy over mashed taters with stuffin, cranberries and rolls. no turkey, but all of my brood is happy with the layout.
