I don't know. It was your dad's tank. I'm sure it's been on many adventures. He gave it to me, told me it had a pin hole in it that he had peened at one time. It had the old style valve so I'd have to switch that out just to get it filled, and I never bothered because of the pin hole.

I think Dave and the boys are digging the basement for Nates shack. smile

Major snow event on the way. Parts of the state are under a blizzard warning and may get 12" to 16". We're in the 5" to 10" range with high winds.

I'll trade weather with you Stan. They've dropped the 5 to 10" estimate and are now saying 10" minimum. Looks like we'll be getting a lot of snoblower time on Thursday. Most of the area schools have already announced that they'll be closed.

Snowing hard here, complete with lightning and thunder on a hard East Wind. Temps will drop and the winds will increase tonight. Should be interesting tomorrow morning.

Pam and I were on the road today picking up my Christmas present. Pam bought me this nice used sled, low miles and very well kept. She surprised the heck out of me.

We did our shopping for the kids today as well, lot of driving today, tired out and glad to be home.

Huh. Not sure I've seen to many of those red ones. Looks like a cream puff though. I think my '95 Trail Deluxe was a 40th aniversary edition, so a 2000?

Yes this is a 2000, 45th anniversary model.

700 liquid cooled twin, elect start, reverse, push button ride adjustment (soft/firm)

Mirrors... it's exactly what I want in a sled these days.

I'm real happy, she did a great job finding this thing and got a great deal too.

We have snow, a good amout of it too. ND has a nice little lake he can ride on if there isn't much for snow.

Unfortunately I don't really have any really good news yet. He is doing about the same in the movement department. He moved his left arm a little and squeezed his sons hand a little the other day but thats about it. He has been talking goofy too. Last saturday he thought he was up on Lake of the Woods fishing. His son told him he was going to go home and get things done and Gene said "yeah I'll probably pack it up and head back to the room too. Nothings biting anyway" and then Sunday he thought he scored a touchdown for the Vikings and he's convinced they heat the hospital with chicken shiit. We were concerned that his head had more damage than previously thought but then they informed us they had him on some medication to help with his therapy. They started weaning him off of that yesterday so hopefully he comes around. Funny that they decide to wean him off the meds when he starts saying they heat the hospital with chicken shiit! Don't want that rumor going around I guess! grin

Please keep him in your thoughts and prayers. Thank you!
