Man Joe is getting big! There is nuttin like fishing in your PJ's and slippers. grin

Happy B-day little man!

We didn't have the luck the northern crew did on the ice. Well, my step dad did. He won a Jiffy 8" Pro4 ice auger. The hole it cuts is 8" not the size of the auger. grin It's a propane rig and a by the looks of it, a dang nice one!

Fun weekend up north with my BIL and step dad. We're headed back up next weekend to pull the ice shack for the year.

We are getting hammered with snow, I took the old brown ford this morning, deeeeep snow and deeper drifts all the way to work. The old engine is so tired and clapped out, she barely had enough snot left in her to get me here in the deep stuff.

We are in full blown blizzard. I could have just as well drove the 35 miles to work this morning with my eyes closed. Zero visibility much of the way. My wife made her 30 mile trek to work and her boss told her to go home because its going to get worse. She juuust about made it and got stuck on the road not far from our driveway. I had to leave work and drive blind all the way home again. I hooked on the tow strap and pulled her all the way to the garage. The driveway is plugged solid. I'm working from home now.

I ordered the parts I need for my snowblower. Sure wish they would get here! crazy

Mostly sunny here! And windy, holy cow it is windy. Cold too. Usually we get this on the back side of a storm.

I love me a good snowstorm. lucky dogs!

ND is the house safely off the lake?

Sounds like everyone had a good weekend. We did too. We were at Fortune Bay casino on lake Vermillion from Thursday till yesterday snowmobiling, It was lots of fun but the trails were really beat up and rough Saturday.

Oh yeah, I got engaged on Wednesday. smile

I am out of order until further notice. My "stupid people" filter needs cleaning and my "give a damn" batteries have run out.

Hope you have a friend with a plow Rooster.

Very mild here, 38*. We're supposed to get about an inch of snow tonight, but the temp is going to drop like a rock, plus get windy.

Tom, good luck with the ice. Best get it taken care of before you have a leak.

It was not a fun project Bill. I had to chip, chip, and chip, ice off the sidewalk. I really don't know what to do with the gutters. I bought some "puck" ice melter thingy's that seem to be working in some way. The gutter downspout was froze shut and that is the culprit. So far, there is just a lot of ice in them. Not on the roof yet.

We had the inside scoop on that one lol!

Congrats again! grin

The fish houses are 5 miles closer to shore than they were before, we moved fish town Saturday morning.

Which reminds me... Dusty, Missy.... did you realize there was an unsecured 22 inch flat screen tv/dvd up on a shelf inside that house?

shocked

Yep, we're shopping for a new tv blush

The houses will be snowed in pretty good after this blast, but it isn't anything ole yeller can't handle, no problem. Especially with yeller's new tire chains.
