Does anyone know of a 1 peice steel base for turn in rings that will work on a Marlin 57 or 57M?? I was told the 336 may work but it would have an extra screw hole....I have no idea but I would really like to put engraved Redfield rings on my newly (not yet acquired but its coming) Marlin 57

What you are looking for is the Redfield JR-56 #511106...you may have to do a little searching as they are long out of production...but one is out there hanging on a peg-board covered with dust somewhere...

You can also do a Weaver base and get some Millett engraved rings...I think I have a set if you want to go that way.

I had a 57M and it was a great shooter with Winchester 40 gr. JHPs...

I think a Leupold or redfield 336 base will work as well. They come pre-drilled with 3 holes but if you one use two of them it fits perfectly and is very secure.
