Ha! Well thanks Brie, now I'll try going to bed with the creed droaning through my head just like boot camp 22 years ago. Strange winter,eh? Unbelievable that you need to pull your fish house off LOW in early March! 72 degrees here in PA. Had a fish fry with crappie fillets tonite for our grand daughters. First of the year and about a month ahead of schedule. Headed to cabin Thurs. afternoon for 3 days of probing back bays for more slabs. Guess there is a benefit to a winterless winter.  Happy belated Birthday, Pam. You and Dave got it goin' on! Nice to see it and feel the vibes. Gotta go hug Sara. That'll surprise her! Ron

Mom, dad, and I are at the lake. Dad is fixing the rain gutter. I can't believe how beautiful it is out! The ice is getting kinda dark on Little White Earth.

I had today and the rest of the week off because if I don't use the vacation, I lose it. Spent the day on the 4 wheeler exercising the dogs and looking for sheds since the snow has pretty much vanished. I checked out a small island of woods in the middle of a field that no one hunts but I have seen a nice buck hanging by in the summer. (He's always gone by the time bow season starts it seems) Anyway, I pull up to this patch and its nothing but brush and twisted and/or downed trees. A real mess. I walked it and holy crap is there deer sign in there. Rubs, scrapes and poop all over this little island of trees. Most hunters won't look at it twice. I'll be sitting in the middle of it this fall!

Ice is good Dave! it keeps the refreshements cold in the cooler and the glass! going to look for that new Ice house tomorrow. hopefully its been started!

A dear friend to us all is in for a consultation on a serious health matter at this moment.
We haven't said anything up to this point, but I'm asking anyone that reads this now.
Say a little prayer, hope for the best, I have to think god will know who you are praying for, even if you don't at this time.
