GOOD! Stories like this haunt internet purchase and sales. I hope to never have this problem.

What you have done is not nearly as important as how you have done it!!!

Your reading comprehension sucks: he said that the dealer cashed the check and that he has the cancelled check. I would say the guy owes him $400.

Cancelling a check that has already been cashed seems a bit useless, don't ya think?

I believe he means cancelled by being CASHED.

You seem to want to pick nits on this.

Read it in context, and it's really not too hard to comprehend.

Did you go to school stupid or did you come out that way? A cancelled check is one that has cleared and money is gone from his account. Sweet Jesus

OMG Steely, I can't believe that for once you and me agree. Guess some folks don't understand the difference between a stop payment and a cancelled check.

As to the OP, currently a hard copy, faxed or emailed FFL is good to go. If he cashed your check and failed to send the goods then that is fraud.

I've noted your post in which you said you came to an agreement. I hope it worked out well for you.

Ya think next time you will give all the info at once instead of piecemeal? Would have solved the whole problem.

I think, therefore I am, conservative.
