I have a custom 7mm - it consists of a 8mm Mag necked down to 7mm with a weatherby type sholder - cronograhped 160 grain nosler partitions at 3350 and shoots like a dream. It is set up as a switch barrel rifle with the other other barrel being a 25-06 Ackley improved. It is pillar bedded in a McMillian stock. Of course the Ackley had a differnt bolt face and I have the bolt which was fit to the action. The 7mm barrel (Hart #5 taper) has a brake designed by Homer Strickland (who also build the rifle and is now deceased) while the 25-06 barrel (another Hart) does not have a brake. I have fired 62 rounds through the 7mm barrel and 40 through the 25-06 barrel. I have not done the load development for the 25-06 as the forming loads are shooting under an inch at 100 meters. $3000 for the whole set up, which includes the brass for each caliber and Neil Jones custom dies (in line die sets) for both calibers. I have a little over $4,000 invested but no one in my family is interested in hunting and I hate to just let it sit. Take care and be safe.....

I have a brand new tube gun in 6.5x284 with a new krieger 1-8 twist SS barrel, redding competition dies, brass, neck turn tool, and some bullets. Barrel is 28" and is a medium palma taper. The action is a blueprinted remington 700 short action.

Also have a paramount sight and base that could be purchased separately.

I know where there is one for sale with a Kreiger barrel(200 or less rounds) for 1300. It's a shooter I am told. PM me if you need more info. I held it last week. It looks good.
