From what I gather, the only real difference between the H1 and T1 is that the T1 will work with night vision. The odds of me running night vision are somewhere between slim and none. Any reason to spring for the T1 over the H1 except for it being more tacti-cool?

That's true and I vote no. Unless you see yourself needing/wanting night vision in the future, go with the H-1.

Not that I could find. I've been very happy with mine, still running the same battery for over two years now and I leave it on setting #8 all the time.

The only thing I'd do different is get the 2 moa dot but it wasn't available when I bought mine.

Figure if I ever can swing NV, I could afford to buy a T1 then too.

Second question. Any places to find a good deal on the buggers?

Since I recommend the tall LaRue mount, they have a pretty good deal on their combo. Here's the T-1 for only $40 more.

Watch this website if you have the time, they run good deals on demos, and the two scopes I've bought were better than expected. You'd probably have to pay sales tax.

Sadly, if I'd seen you post for the lower yesterday, we could have traded for mine.

Thanks guys.

One really cool thing that LaRue does is they don't charge shipping on my orders since I'm local. Makes paying sales tax a little more bearable.
