Plastic tarps as floor + snowy boots = busted azz.

I use a very heavy canvas tarp on top of old bed sheets as a floor in my 14x16, but back away from the stove so it doesn't freeze to the ground. Put a couple of small throw rugs down on top and you're as good as home.

We've used painters drop clothes (light canvas) for flooring when there is snow on the ground, or even when it it dry/dusty.
