I have a lg badger at the taxi now getting made into a rug. Was going to go the full body route but taxi had a couple really nice rugs in the shop. I was easily swayed. Hard to get a really nice badger since they dont get prime until Jan and often hole up during those cold periods.
Any pics?

Not the best picture as it was taking with a cell phone. Found him eating on a dead dear. Must be pretty old as his teeth are pretty worn down and he has scars all over his face must have been a fighter.

Laker: I have a huge boar Badger that was made into a rug - it has gray and black felt trim around the pelt and it looks awesome! The gray and black colors of the felt really set off the colors of the Badgers fur. The rug option may save you a hundred dollars or more? Congratulations on the Badger by the way. Years ago I shot a huge Badger down on Fallon Creek south of Baker. I used to do a lot of Varminting down there (before fuel became so expensive!). Hold into the wind VarmintGuy

Yes Fair Chase, the rug is fantastic. I have a badger that wasn't quite prime, as he came from Wyoming in October, but he's nice enough for a full body mount. The fact that I bought him off of old 98 year old Trapper Jake from Riverton makes him special to me anyway. I was gonna do one of just him, but always looking for something different, I stumbled across this display and I am trying to come up with a nice gray fox in order to do it. I believe that I'll have him snarling at the fox though. That rug is so sweet that I will be searching for one in his prime for my next project.
