I have a CZ/BRNO M611 .22 WMR with 13 mm groove mount on the action. I want to fit a red dot sight, for example the Bushnell TRS25. Any recommendations on the mount? Do any red dot sights come built to fit the 13 mm groove?
thanks...
jim

Not sure about the "11mm answer," but was looking for some STEEL rings (vs softer aluminum) for mounting a smallish optic on a Marlin Papoose!
Was looking extensively on MidwayUSA.
The M70P and M70PSS Papoose's have mounting rails along the top of their receivers like the M60 Marlin's, and alledgedly take 3/8" groove rings!
However, two or three companies (don't remember for sure, altho one might have been B-Square) that make "bases" that attach to a scope rail, but have Weaver or Picatinney slots on top.
Whether thats a good choice way to go, remember such a base will [considerably] raise your line-of-sight through the red dot (optic) depending whatever mix of rings and bases you find to work.
Warne I noticed (along with Burris and Leupold) have STEEL 3/8" rings that attach directly to a grooved scope rail. Those might be last-resort choices for my situation, if thats what I end up doing. (If Millett offered the compact 1" red dot sights with crossairs of some kind, I'd happily choose that for my Papoose! (for no more than 50 yards).

SD, Thanks for the reply. I also got a reply from a Burris technician who said I could start with a Weaver base and mount a FastFire to that base (FastFire is another type of RD of course). I think I will be OK on the line of sight height, but we will see. jim

i was looking for 11mm Burris signatures for my CZ this week and what i didn't know until it was pointed out to me by a helpfull fellow shooter is that Burris supplies an extra sets of clamps to swap out on their 22 rimfire rings that work with the 11mm dovetail. so you buy one set and you're good for either 3/8" or 11mm. i don't know which other mfr (if any) does as well.

if its a true 13mm i believe leupold makes a mighty fine option for you.i wanted to use these for my cz 452 american but they weren't tall enough for my 40mm objective, good luck, whitearrow
