I handled these and the new Saurer at the NRA show. I liked them both and the quality seemed similar. The Mauser had a more traditional feel and the Sauer a bit more modern feel. Both nice, but I preferred the handling and feel of the Sauer by a very slim margin. I don't give a damn about CRF vs PF.

Reviving an older thread here to see if anyone has had the opportunity to own or shoot this rifle.

Looks like a good one..............

I have had one in 7x64 for about a year now and love it. L.O.P. was a bit long at 14.25 "for me but after I cut it down to 13.5 it fit me great and handles better.
I have fired hornady 162 sst in it prvi partizan and rem 140 gr corelokt. Hornady puts em inside an inch and prvi 140gr about the same. Handloads with 139 gr hornady are even better.
Next will be one in 9.3x62 in wood also.

I have a Sauer 101.

I have not yet had the chance to shoot it, but I love the feel of the rifle.

Nicest overmolded stock I have seen. Not a mold like to be found.

2lb. trigger is phenomenal, and the balance (unscoped at this time) seems perfect.

The bolt is smooth as silk, and I think you could drive a truck over the poly magazine.

I think it's a real keeper, and I expect it to shoot well.

They guarantee MOA for 5 shots with factory ammo.
