I just tried out a plinker concoction for the 9,3X72R

I loaded 16gr of Trail Boss under 95gr .365 Makarov bullets, and it works great. I'll clock them this weekend and post the velocity.

Way to go!
Gotta feel good when things work out. Now, you need a varmint load, just think how fast those little hollow points could fly, if you put a delrin tip in them.

Sweet. I've been waiting to hear how this went for you. I'm gonna try some cast mak bullets in my 9.3x62. Hoping to end up with a good plinking and ptarmigan load.

Here is how it clocks with 15.5gr Trail Boss and the Hornady Makarov bullet. I used a 40 yard zero with sights .50" above the bore.
