Anyway want to get a ghost ring and new front sight for the 'lil Henry. Thanks for any links and or advice in advance.. Kinda funny my granddaughter was pissed that I had a rifle named Henry! Just last week see got a kitten and named it Henry. LOL

Well, there's Henry rifles, and then, there's Henry rifles - it would depend upon whether you mean a "standard" Henry ot a Golden Boy. The standard versions will take any of several clip-on receiver peep sight (Skinner, Williams WGRS,NECG, etc), most of which will require a taller front sight, and a few that need to be D/T'd to attach, one of which will zero with the issue front sight (Williams WM-96). It's not practical to mount a receiver peep to a GB, so most owners install a tang peep sight on theirs. This is the WM-96 This is the WGRS This is a Williams 5D This is a Marbles tang peep sight The Skinner peep sight .

Nice. Thanks. I aim to remove the hooded front site and replace it to.

Unless you install a tang peep sight, don't forget to order (or make) a dovetail slot filler blank - and remove the rear bbl open/iron sight, for a clean sight picture with the peep sight.
If a tang sight's in your future, leave the rear bbl sight zeroed for a short-range (say, 30yds), and zero the tang sight for a somewhat longer range (say, 75yds) - if hunting with the bbl sights, there's usually ample time to flip up the tanger for a shot at game further away.

. ...or replace your barrel mounted rear leaf to a folding one.

Another one of Skinners offerings if you have an octagon model. I used this one for a couple years with pretty good results but decided I wanted the aperture closer to my eye so I installed one of Rossi'e tang sights. To flimsy for hunting and interfered with my grip so I ended up with a Williams. Had to do some fitting but it was worth the time IMO.
