It's bad everywhere. This was yesterday up North at 9000' +. Not a hint of green grass except along the river.

For Sam, Paul. I know she's a nice gal 'cause she's got on a straw hat. Mmmmm-uuuummmmm-good! Does she have a boat?

Thanks be to the fallen warriors today, I will pass it along as I can. Meanwhile......... If you put your ears close enough they say you can hear the ocean? Is this true? I'll second that !! Paul. Sand tasted salty and it sure was gritty but worth it...

On this day I usually don't visit that quiet place of endless peace, usually reserve to do that a few days after to miss the crowd. Today I did, even with the crowd.
To those who paid the time, and those who paid the total price, and them who have survived the minute by minute...
A toast to them all.... may you fill your days full as you can.
A shame it had to be, but, it is what it is.
No fear, no doubt, all in, balls out.

Hey, lighter note for all you well to do whankers! Both chambered for the .44 Henry RF, askin' $24,500 (Henry Rifle) and $12,500 (1866) wonder how hard it would be to make 44RF ammo?

I must be getting old. After admiring the lovelies for a few seconds, I noticed the pocket velociraptor behind her...

There was a run of it produced in Brazil about 20 years ago for the Uberti clone of the Henry rifle. Don't see much of it around. Color me Jurassic if you want but I'd like to see that gun and a reliable supply of ammo available OTC, or at least something similar. The .44 Henry Flat was not a ballistic barn burner but I'm thinking it would be dandy for general use. And pigs.

I honestly never noticed it! I had to go back to the original to see if it was there! My attention was elsewhere....

Went on the annual Memorial Day ATV ride today. 75 miles round trip. Great day in some of I da hoe's finest....with beer. Took the wheelers back to the cabin on the way home. Called from the buildings for the hell of it. I'll be damned two toms came in on the last day of season at 7 PM. Only one left..... I just got done cleaning him. Film.......later. Hope you all had a fine one also. Tomorrow is looking good too.
