Not what you are looking for, but when I had my W94 .356 I found that the 250 Hornady RN was the only RN bullet I could find in that weight, and the front taper (ogive?) was too long to seat properly for correct OAL. So I used the Speer 220 FP instead, in front of W748, for about 2350 fps if I recall correctly. Accurate and very satisfactory results on one moose and one elk. The moose was a young one at 250 paces, broadside. Good expansion and complete pass through.

I just threw away my 356 load data about a month ago. I used to shoot the Win 250 PP over 748. I used the load from an old Win load book. I don't know if they still put these out, but I got ahold of that one in the late 90's. I will look for it and if I find it, I will put the data on here. The 250 PP's shot very well in my 94.

In the similar 358 case 46.0 grains of Accurate 2520 has been pleasantly accurate and quick from a 20" barrel, about 2270 fps as I recall.

I have 46 Win PP's if you want them for the cost of USPS shipping, $4.95 I think. These must have been made for the 356/358, crimped in the cannelure, they functioned perfectly thru my 94.

I'll happily take them, thanks. It's $5.80 now. You need any bullets?

Steelie, I've got another 50 of those Win FP's if you're going to do a bunch of shooting. I figure you for a guy that shoots ALOT. With 46.0gr of N201 I'm getting 2400fps with a 23in barrel in 358. powdr

I have an old loadbook I got for my 358 that has 356 data in it too, here's what it shows that's not already posted:

H335, start...44.0...1888fps...max...46.0...2151fps
H322, start...38.0...1886fps...max...41.0...2106fps
H4895, start...40.0...1919fps...max...43.0...2128fps
**These are listed out of a 20" barrel, Win LR Primer with the 250 Horn RN.

IMR4064, start...41.0...1952fps...max...44.0...2141fps
IMR4198, start...32.0...1822fps...max...35.0...2009fps
IMR4895, start...39.0...1914fps...max...42.0...2088fps
**Components used not listed.

I have a bunch of old manuals in the basement if I come across anymore I'll post em up.

Hey gang. New to the forum. HUGE 356 Win fan! I have one i bought in the mid 80's to elk hunt with in Idaho. I was reaching for some of the 250gr factory loads and it brought me to this forum. I noticed a couple of you talking about the 250gr PP bullets. Were these available for reloading at one time? If anyone has any of them, I'd be interested in them! Holler at me. Barry
