Like new Ruger M77RL MKII Ultralight in .257 Roberts. Bought this off the forum a month or so ago but recently found something else I "had" to have. Something has to go. Below is the description provided by the original owner. I have NOT fired the gun since purchase. Box and rings included, scope is NOT included. Asking $675 plus $25 shipping. **SOLD**

At one time I had three of these in .257, I kept this one as it was the most accurate and had the best balance. Spent about all its life in the safe, been to the range just enough to know its not picky. Trigger, fit and finish excellent. Not much else to say about it. Will not disappoint.

Yes Sir, its a long action. Had some folks ask specifics about the accuracy, so went and got my load notes.

All 3-shot groups off sandbags at 100 yds. Letting the barrel cool for a few minutes between shots as the barrel is THIN!

Most of these loads were what I had left over from other .257's Ive had.

120 Speer Hotcor w/H4350 .725"
117 Hornady RN w/4350 .800"
75 Hornady V-Max w/H4350 .925"
100 Barnes TSX w/H4350 1.375"
100 Nosler BT w/4350 1.1-1.6"
100 Hornady SP w/H350 1.375-1.500"
100 Speer SP w/4350 1.475"

The only time accuracy wasn't up to par, is when I tried a powder besides a 4350. Other than that, pick a bullet with H4350 behind it and it would do 1.5" Really shined with the heavier bullets.

I bought one of those for Tide Jr, when he first went deer hunting with me at age 8. He's left a terrible trail of death through the deer seasons since then with it, using several different kinds of bullets including Ballistic Tips, Accubonds, Hornady SP's and Speer BTSP's.

Great little hunting rifle here.

Nice snag! These are one of the nicest rifle model Ruger ever produced & sadly, they've now been discontinued.
