Man this thing is built tough! I ordered the waxed canvas. The workmanship is flawless.

It is no lightweight piece of gear but should be great for banging around town and as a day pack.

I am giving it a run tomorrow.

If only I knew how to download pictures.

I like it but $220 is way too steep for my wallet.
It reminds me of my German Army Rucksack that I got at Cabela's for $15.

It looks like a rugged piece of gear. From the pictures, it doesn't appear to have a chest strap. For my use, even a day pack needs to have a chest strap added if it doesn't come with one. Otherwise, it will constantly need to be readjusted to keep from sliding off my shoulder.

I put one on and it felt like a little Hello Kitty back pack. I bought a Frost River timber cruiser junior, which is almost too big, even though it is a junior! I had to send it back though because the straps were too short. They put longer straps on for me for the return shipping. I've used it a couple times. It's very solid, but it's heavy. It's like 6 pounds! All these guys are talking about Kifaru and such ultra lite packs. I'd like to wear it in a bit and carry it around all hunting season.
