I thought I'd share this with some of you that might be interested and haven't seen them before, A few of our fellow rifle enthusiasts from down under that are also highly skilled machinists are manufacturing some extremely high quality aftermarket parts for T-3's that may be of interest to you, Here are a couple that I just installed in less than a few minutes on a NIB stainless T-3 HB "Varmint" 22-250 I recently acquired, the finish, fit and function of these parts are excellent IMHO and doing business with them was an absolute pleasure.

It looks pretty good, but what is that big black thing hanging off the bolt handle? Do you hit folks on the head with it?

Didn't make it out today, frown they wont be running for long and we need to get some more bait in before it's over. Crabbing season isn't that far off.......
Butch, it does double duty....I can use it with heavy gloves over on the east side during the winter and for a club for on the off chance I run out of cartridge's smile
It isn't really that much larger than the stock handle, I think it a IPhone camera and depth of field thing.....
I have a GRS stock from Norway coming for it soon....

Thanks Butch,
I thought I had OP'ed this in the custom thread, not realizing I posted this on the hunting rifles thread......sorry....
It doesn't seem like Tikka's are as appreciated here as they are overseas even though they have a reputation of being exceptionally fine shooters right out of the box. They do have quite a following in Europe and Australia where I'm seeing some real nice aftermarket stocks, parts and pieces being manufactured for them. Sterk is one of them from Australia. I thought I would post so that other Tikka shooters could see a couple of the pieces I chose out of the product that's available if they might want to dress up their T-3's, or put some tacticool on their rifle, or if they just want to get away from some of the plastic parts that seems to cause heartburn for some folks.

Robert,
I haven't seen any Tikka actions for sale but EuroOptic has a NIB wood stocked
T-3 hunters in stock in 6.5 x55 for sale on their website for $650 if that helps.
Welcome to the fire,

BD
