Ray built me a rifle, and worked on a couple more. I was more than satisfied. I no longer live down the street from him, and since he cut way back I had to go elsewhere. I really hope he is on the mend. Would like to take him more work.

Talked to my Dad yesterday for Father's Day and he told me Ray was heading to Africa again very soon. Could be that he's gone for awhile over there.

Must be feeling better if he is going hunting. He is smarter than I, told me to get out of the preference point game years ago and just save up for an Africa trip every couple of years. Wish I would have listened.

I know Ray has some friends that he's made over the years over in Africa, so he seems to go over there just about every year. He doesn't really go for trophy hunting, just to get out after them and enjoy the company. I do know he killed a near record Eland there several years ago. He said they didn't target that bull, they just found out after the animal was on the ground.
