When I got My 455 Came across this 22long rifle and just bought it for the price 150 . buck!> any one know about them?

I picked one up a couple of years ago on an auction site for ~$125. Spitting image of the CZ452 action, stock is soft and feels like balsa wood. Shoots great, nice enough trigger, bought it instead of a .22 pellet rifle rifle for squirrels. Very accurate with iron sights using subsonic ammo to 25 yards. Cheap soft wood, crude metal finish, but fantastic shooters. Back when you could order then for $72 plus shipping, shooting buddies and I order quite a few of them.

Fit and finish is a bit crude. I had to recarve the safety on my JW15 with a file to get it to go on and off with one hand, but once that was out of the way it was very reliable and accurate. It's now my go-to squirrel gun because of its accuracy and I don't have to worry about scratching it in the woods. All in all it was a steal at $99 brand new in 1990.

O My And the 15 has Double locking Lugs> does that make it better then the 455???> By all the 452> cry babies they should buy ONE! for all that 22 pressure!

Minr is the most accurate 22 I have ever owned. Quite a few
woodchucks have been shot in my garden with it.
