Pete - are you up on the "Blaser Buds" Forum?

I learned, I'd have to retire-twice, before I looked at one of these.

Pictures?

Nice piece of gear but just be aware that it will be reasonably heavy due to the steel action which Blaser normally use on big cals.

I recently got Synthetic Professional stocked R8 and tried a Swaro Z3 in 2.5-10 and found that it did not have sufficient eye relief so you may want to watch that one.

I believe the Z6 is fine though.

Z-6 of course

Can't wait to see it, happy retirement, I got 4.5 more years, I guess I need to start saving for mine.

I've Never been to McBrides, onlt Sportsmans Finest. I need to make it there some day, heard it is a great OLD store.

Congrats. I like leupold's on mine R-93 because they are lighter and longer eye relief, but certainly can't go wrong with a Z6, especially if its on the rail mount. Yes, you definitely need to get on Blaserbuds website.

I have an R8 in 30/06--the Professional. Decided that the Swarovski Z3 3-10x42 with the BRH reticle was a suitable match both iin form (relatively light and compact) and function for the R8.

Well you bought your last rifle, I shoot an R-93. As for scopes I think one of the Z6 1.7 -10 x 42 with there version of a turret would be something to consider.
