These are NIB stocks ready to ship from McM to you immediately. If you need a stock for the hunting season, and can't wait, these are for you.

1231 E1 Rem Mountain Rifle BLACK L700 BDL FBC
1231 E2 Rem Mountain Rifle BLACK L700 BDL FBC
1231 F2 Rem Mountain Rifle OD/blk L700 BDL FBC

1231 I1 Rem Classic BLACK L700 BDL FBC
1231 I2 Rem Classic BLACK L700 BDL FBC

These are all EDGEs for factory Rem 700s. READY TO SHIP. Regular Campfire prices: $569 + $25 to lower 48 = $594 (Canada $25 extra). Really prefer Money Orders on these, gents.

First "I'll Take It" for each stock takes it.

Thanks all.

Just so I understand, do you (Rick) work at or for McMillan?

If someone has a stock on order, if the stock hasn't been started, is it possible to cancel the order and purchase one of these stocks? Just curious

Getting a stock without having to wait does sound good.

I do not work for McMillan. 24hourcampfire is a McMillan stock dealer.

Yes it is, but these stocks are already built, so the specs are what the specs are.

I know. smile

Sorry for my ignorance, but would FBC be too large for an old Mountain Rifle?

These are all standard LOP, 13.5 inches, and standard factory sporter barrel contour.

Yes. OD/blk means Olive Drab base coat with black speckles. This stock will fit a factory M700 short action BDL with the sporter barrel contour.

Rick,
I'm looking for an A3 Edge for a 700 Long action/BDL/RH/factory barrel channel. If there is anyway to locate one other than just getting on the waiting list, please let me know.

Do any have a mag sporter barrel channel for a 300 win mag or 7 rem mag or are they all standard sporter for a 270 or 30-06 contour?

My understanding is that aside form the LVSF, mag barrel channels start at .338 caliber.

But, in any case, these that are left ALL have factory sporter barrel channels.

So a 7mm Rem Mag CDL SF 24" barrel would fit the factory sporter contour?

Marty:

My only hesitation would be the fluted component. Might be Rem fluted the mag contour. We could mike it and doublecheck.

Merry Christmas Rick,

Did you find the Remington BDL stock that I asked about? Please let me know because I need one ASAP for a build. I'm making the rifle with a #3 brux. Thank you.

Rick, I am just starting to put the pieces together in my mind for a rifle build. I am planning on a Remington 700 long action, but will probably use a #3 contour....is there enough room in these stocks for that barrel?

There is room in the Classics for sure. On the MR it will depend on the shank length, but if it's 1.5 inches or less, it should fit.

To clarify, all these stocks are inlet for factory sporter barrel channels. There is room in the Classics at least for a magnum and/ or a #3, but they would need to be opened up.

They are drop-in for a factory 700 long action BDL with a factory sporter barrel channel.
