Had one o'them nights last night.

Went to bed at a fairly reasonable hour and started that "can't get comfortable" routine.

Finally looked at the clock and it was 12:30.

Looked again and it was 1:30.

At 2:30, I started to panic,....only 2 hours left until I have to get up for work.

From that point on it was an every 15 minute thing until I said "fuggit" at 4AM,...got up and fixed a pot of coffee.

To make matters worse, today was a "hot job" day,...people running up asking "when's it gonna be done?"

Both of my eyeballs were hanging down on my cheeks and I was contemplating taking hostages when quitting time finally rolled around.

I'm 'bout done with this chit, man,...I ain't kiddin'.

I've pretty much decided to commit employment suicide,...I just haven't decided on how to do it.

I wanna go out with a bang, though,...

,...maybe slip up on one o'them fat girls that walk up and down the aisle for exercise during lunch,...start smackin' her on the ass while hollerin' out, "Pick it up!,..pick it up!,...you ain't gonna walk ya ass of at this pace!"

I've left a legacy at every place I've ever worked.

I need one here too.

Now that's funny and a good idea!!! As for not being able to sleep, I take Melatonin which helps.

I'm up everyday at 4, automatic. Doesn't matter when I hit the sack....can fall asleep in a minute or less.

Living right I reckon.

Been there myself. Too much to think about, it gets very late and panic about the time left sets in.

I got one of these. It seems to help.

I put it on rain or waterfall and just think about camping out under a bluff in the rain or sitting beside the waterfall and go to sleep in no time. This one came from Wal-Mart for about $100. I wouldn't suggest one any cheaper.

Try melatonin 1-2 hours before bedtime.

When you leave your legacy mark, be sure to get video!

Damn. I'm out within 5 minutes of hitting the pillow. Once or twice during the week the wife will wake me in the wee hours and ask 'did you hear that' which of course I didn't, cuzz I'm asleep.

I can't sleep past 6am though, regardless of what time I go to bed.

It's hard to sleep on my back.

7AM is about the max for me,...even if I got to bed at 6:30.

But my wife stopped asking me, "Did you hear that?!!"

She got tired of me saying,.."I farted,...go back to sleep".

I do that on occation but my poor ol dad does is every night, no wonder he falls asleep in the middle of conversations. I can't stay awake after I get home in the summer or winter. if its hot as 40 hells and I come in and sit down in the ac or its cold as a well diggers buttocks and I come in and sit down in the heat, either one and I'm out like a light.

I do wake up early no matter what now, can't sleep in at all. I'm up at 6ish no matter what. When I was 20 I could sleep till 10:00.

Prolly a bad thing now that I think of it.

We could be experiencing a home invasion by a midget faction of the Crips wielding 12 gauge sawed off shotguns,..and her subconscious mind would process the entire commotion as being a fart.

Eat a big bowl of that no sugar added ice cream after supper. With the gas you'll have, you will at least feel like you have a reason to be up and if you can hang on to it long enough, you will definitely leave work with a bang that stories will be told about for years.

"You remember that fartin' guy?"

"Uh-huh,....he got run off".
