Pull out the small plug/firing pin, place a 22 LR round in the adapter, put the plug back in w/firing pin tit facing the 22's rim and chamber/fire the whole thing in any 22-250 chamber. Pop out plug w/22 cal rod, dump out spent 22 LR and start over. Very simple..I had this for years and never had a use for it...Like new. Throw this in your pocket while wood chucking along with some 22 ammo...Never know when you'll see a crow/pigeon/starling or other smaller varmint to plink..
