Deer passed by at 150 yds just caught a glimpse not sure what it was
Turkey's were roosted near by and I called in a tom to 44 yds but in the brush so no shot

Final saw one of the big boys in person
Giant 8 pt I rattle him to 60 yds but he just wouldn't commit
Cat and mouse for 10 minutes

There needs to be an investment in a wifi webcam here. Drag up a small car battery, connect a 12 charging cord and plug in your iphone. Then you can share the live footage!

Breeding here from phase 1 rut is already over with. Activity has gone back to normal. It was at a peak around the 18th.
It will trickle now, and heat up again closer to Thanksgiving.

Dan, I squeaked in a coyote to 10 yards this morning and shot under him. Freaked me right out............!!!

I hunted this morning but very windy here 25-30mph with higher gusts, only hunted till 8:30 saw 4 doe and figured I'd get the boat put away in storage and clean up some work
hope to get out this afternoon even though wind still blowing
