Passport, pretty sure that's his model #69. I think I have that some knife only with red G-10 scales - its a darn fine knife IMHO.

Correct it is a model #69 in Caribou, awesome knife and very comfy handle.

I think INTHEMTNS is right, it's a Model 45. David had a special piece of splalted maple that had lots of character and lighter color changes in it, and these scales were some that were made from it.

Those jigged and fluted bone scales that he puts on some of his knives, like the skinner pictured here, are some of the best looking scales that I've seen. And I really like that thick looking shiny finish that he puts on em'. The lines on his skinners are really pleasing to my eye...!

Antlers, I agree. His skinners are great looking, great working knives, and the jigged bone scales are just that extra special touch. I must say though, the two you posted above are beauties also. That red handled skinner has me ready to pick up the phone to give David a call. That one is just amazing.

Model 43. Desert Ironwood. A "working" knife. Not a dresser queen.

I'd like more. That 69 is more my speed

Please God, give me some good tags this year....

I agree. That's my kind of knife right there Jesse.

Appears to be a fairly decent Bear too.

Well done all the way around.

Thats just a all around classy knife, the #43 is a super hunter, very useful pattern in my humble opinion.

I don't always venture out into the sub-freezing darkness, but when I do, it is deer hunting season, and I carry a Remington. Stay hungry my friends.
