nope. Don't see any need to if you don't shoot in the next zip-code, and I don't like target bullets for hunting. Regardless of what Berger says, they don't make a hunting bullet. Try using those berger "hunting" bullets when the game isn't posing there for you broadside. The Hornady interlock, SST or Nosler BT will do anything I need to do.

While I prefer Accubonds, Partitions, TTSX, and SST's to the Berger's, you are making a statement that is faulty at best.

I've seen first hand what a 7mm sized VLD will do to a quartering mule deer at 225 yards and it was impressive.

To the original post, I've got one in .300 WM and have been super happy with it. It's exceeded my expectations in a big way and shoots 180 Accubonds and SST's well within their accuracy guarantee.

A venture in 7-08 is way up on my "to do list". Have experience with a buddy's .308. Once trigger was adjusted, it is a great shooting rifle.
