Yes, thanks very much for that. I added a comment to clarify one of mine.

I see one of mine too. It would have been good to acknowledge the source of the photos, otherwise you are dragging visitors away from Rick's site. I have just added the following info and comment on the pic of my stock:

"This one is a McMillan KS for a Remington left hand long action. Weighs 32oz. The spacer at the butt is required to get to my preferred 14 1/8″ length of pull. This image was harvested from the customs forum on https://www.24hourcampfire.com"

I absolutely understand, and that is something I will try to do. I definitely don't want to steal visitors from anyone. I did see your comments, and will try to add some to the other photos to attribute where they came from and even try to link back to them. Sorry I didn't think of this before.

I've seen feedback on another forum post, and would just like to clarify ... I do totally respect owernship. Its what seperates America from the socialist countries. If I have posted a picture of your stock and you would like me to remove it from the gallery ... I will immediately. Just add a comment on whatever photo it is, and I will do my best to have it down ASAP.

I honestly am just trying to help people who are considering buying a McMillan stock. I personally was in that position a few months ago, and it was painful to try to decide what to go with because you feel like you are guessing and just hope it turns out like you envision. Luckily there are a lot of great people out there willing to share photos of their stocks along with the color ratios they used, and I really appreciate those people and would never want for them to feel like I stole from them somehow.

I literally spent days working on those photo galleries, and don't get paid a dime for any of this. I'm an IT guy, and I saw a way I could make this process easier on people that are in the same position that I was. I think the McMillan stocks are amazing, and seeing some examples may give people to confidence they need to actually place the order and know they will get something they'll be proud of.

Thanks for your understanding, and I will work to add the source of the photos. If you notice one I don't have it on, please add it. And again, if I've posted a photo of your stock and you'd like me to remove it from the gallery ... please just let me know.

Thanks for your explanation and assurances. There is no doubt you have created a great resource for anyone selecting swirly colours. Thanks for all the time and effort you put into it.

Cool stock, man. I am going to try the side mounted flush-cups one of these days. And just for gets and shiggles, I may order a 50 yellow/50 black and a 50 black/50 yellow just to see what the difference might turn out to be...

Thx, I wish the black didn't mix with the yellow, but I'm still happy with the stock. It's different and that's what I wanted.

I think a 60% black and 40% yellow might look pretty good. And even hide better in the woods than you might think.

This makes my second one. If I do anymore future builds and run RVC, I'll be using GS.

I sent a 50/50 back once that came out kinda like that. Prolly stupid but like the next one very much.

I know that swirls are a gamble but 50/50 shouldn't be 80/20 either. I still like the looks of all yours though.

I ordered the wife a 70/30 light blue white. Stock showed up about 70/30 med blue light blue.....sticker said 90/10 med blue light blue....haha. She loved it though.
