I have a 6mm Remington Model 7 with a 20" barrel and it does well on pigs. I've shot them up to 250# with no problem using a Federal factory 100gr Partition. It is amazing how much damage a group of pigs can do to an area quickly. I've come across sections with a lot of oak trees and it looks akin to pictures I've seen from WWI. I watched a smallish boar root for wild onions on a hard packed road and he plowed the dirt effortlessly. Keep up the good work and thanks for the pictures.
