Just bought this Centerfire OR Century ASR rifle. I imagine they just messed up on the brand name but then again...does Century make an ASR? I noticed it does have a different style stock than the centerfire models I've seen. I have been looking at these for a while and for the price I had to get it. I like the fact that it's only 5.5 lbs, breaks down easily and takes glock mags including the 50RD drum. Anyone here have one?

I am not familiar with the gun but please give a function report after you get it.

Turns out it is a TNW ASR and not Century as described by seller. I'm truly glad it's not CAI.

It is quick to assemble/disassemble (10 seconds). I mounted a strikeforce multi-reticle holographic sight on it and have fired approx. 200 rds. It had one FTE in last mag and other than that it has run through off brand ammo/KCI mag with no troubles. I sighted it in at 50yds and am still getting 1-2" groups after 200rds. I have read that the maker claims 1-2" groups at 100yds. I'm going to take it out today and try to get a few pics.
This carbine is light, well made and very handy fitting in my small(18") pack. I also like the fact that I can break it down without removing the optics.
It felt a bit awkward when shooting at first because I was putting my forward hand on the barrel shroud. I installed a short vertical grip and now it feels perfect.
The trigger is a 2 stage style. It sets and then breaks at 4 lbs+/-. From what I've read TNW offers a couple different triggers including a match type...
I bought this ASR because I wanted;
Easy to find standard and high-cap. mags
lightweight
quieter than my 223 so bearable to fire indoors if needed.
packable
multi caliber options(9,40,45 and coming soon 22/22wmr)
short and medium range ability
cheaper more readily avail. ammo
Metal receiver and not polymer
$5-600 price point
