The mayor of Toronto has announced his intentions to run for PM of Canada. Not sure how many are following his antics on the news but oh boy...what a show he is putting on!! This has to be the best reality TV ever...question is: IF his name was on a ballot for PM of Canada would you vote for him??? ;-)

We might hope there is something better somewhere.

I have been following the "Ford theater" on the internet.

He seems very qualified to be mayor of Detroit or New Orleans, but Prime Minister -- not so much.

Still, it appears to humble me, anyone in his right mind, would run away from the top job, not toward it.

Ford is only one vote on the Toronto council....so how exactly did he save peoples tax dollars??

Love the guy kinda reminds me of Kline. If Obama can become President of USA, Ford should easily become the next PM considering all the stupid people voting out there. Still better option than Justin Trudeau.

Yeppers, he is exactly the same sort of utterly vile, porcine and gutter trash creature as was Kline.

He appeals to the lowest of the electorate on the "right" just as that slimy Layton, with his living in a tax-subsidized housing "co-op" when he and his wife were taking in $300.000+ of tax dollars between them, did/does to the morons and fembonazis of the "left".

Justin? ONE election and he will get bored and go and play some other games with the loot he inherited from "PET". IF, the LPC, had the smarts God gave an Ardvark, they would install Ralph Goodale as leader and soon form a majority government,again.

I cannot recall a time, in my 67+ years, when Canadian society was so decadent and our national politics so foul and sleazy.

You do have strong political opinions, usually paired with name calling.
Not a sign of a well informed person.
Instead of criticizing deeds and policies of various politicians, you revert to name calling.
Those living in glass houses should throw no stones.
Please do us all a favour and stick to hunting and shooting or fishing.
You seem to be knowledgeable about it.

Ah heck, Kutes, or "Devil Bear" or Dewey is just a cantankerous old sod who is very passionate, albeit sometimes a bit over the top, about his politics and Canada.
He somtimes confuses fact with fiction, e.g. the Layton living in subsidized housing bit. Yes, Layton did live in Co-Op housing but he paid the market, i.e. not the subsidized rate.
In spite of blatherings to the contrary he was cleared of all allegations.
I enjoy his missives, taken with a grain of salt of course.

He's a scumbag, plain and simple.
