They were playing this on the radio....were saying this is a regional favorite from somewhere in Rhode Island...

Two come to mind. Dolly Parton's Hard Candy Christmas. It came out the year I lost my girlfriend in a car accident at the hands of a drunk driver in early December. I honestly didn't know if I'd make it through that or not.

The other one that always gets me going is "Christmas Shoes." I don't know the artist, but it's hard to get through that one without shedding a tear.

I've always been partial to Burl Ive's "Have a Holly Jolly Christmas" too.
