Confirm barrel is 24 3/4? Did you have it cut down?

That is what it measures from the front of break to the front of action. As for it being cut down I don't have any idea about that

The barrel should be 26" prior to the break unless some idiot destroyed the gun by cutting the barrel. If so then you're selling a very expensive 300 win mag

If it is the early version there were issues with the brake, but it should not have effected the barrel.

No brass or ammo with it. He has another 30-378 so he is keeping them. He said he never shot it long range but it shot fine at 100 yards.
