Sorry fellers, was out hunting sharps and setting more steel with a calling stand thrown in for good measure.. And the only thing I killed was a vole for bait at a dirthole set.. The only sharps we saw were on land we couldn't hunt on. We'll git 'em next season... Good to see you kilt something though Don.

I cain't kill cats this year... Since I moved to IN, I lost my residency.. And non-residents can't kill cats in Montana. And I've been here for the required 6 months as of this month, but you can't buy a license after season opens.. Oh, trust me, I'm thrilled to be sitting it out! Ben

FieldGrade, Beautiful cat. Looks like she has lots of pattern on her back. Is that cat trapped or hunted? I'm assuming hunted because of the dog but what do I know?
They say everything happens for a reason. For me that reason is usually because I've made some bad decisions that I need to pay for.

Snow this year really shut my trapping down for me. Tough having to break trail in the morning checking traps before heading to work at 6 or waiting till 7 at night to break trails. Need a snowmobile this year. Nice cat

Thanks Laker I'd take some of that snow off your hands if I could. I'd like to catch another Cat or two with my little cur dog before I get to old to make the tree. Probably get some the day after Cat season ends:( (as usual)

17# Tom stretched 31" OK, now you're rubbing it in! Great work, keep it up! What is the quota over there? Laker, we're in the same predicament as you with the snow. All my sets are getting blown over with snow, and some places we just ain't setting because the coyotes are mostly just running the roads and rivers to stay out of the deep snow.
