I've got a buddy who swears by using a snare, but I like this chokepole awful well. I don't keep the urine anyways, but I really ought to.

full bladder, shoulder and hind leg glands along with the azzhole, sure makes good gland lure.....

Well I'm going out to skin right now, I'll try cutting them out. Be pretty kewl, catch a coyote on home brew lure.

When neck snared, their heads get water between the skull and hide. Not near as fun to skin......

It don't happen to all of them, just the ones that don't die fast...

Yep, Don said it perfectly.. This is the first one I've had all year. I got him on a board right now, he's a super nice looking coyote.. I'll get a picture of him when I turn the hide.

I don't know anyone around here who snares.

other traps styles, calling and hounds are the typical methods in this part of the world, at least of what the folks I know use.
