1-8".

I also need to order two more McMillans. One for a Forester and another for a Vixen. I've pretty much decided on EDGE fill, Sako Hunter pattern, brown paint and red pad. But I do keep considering McWoody and red pad. Decisions, decisions...

That's stupid, Sam already said what doesn't matter, do a 1-10" twist. Damn shame Speer dropped the 105gr RN, you'd really have something.

I saw one painted brown on here not long ago...red pad too. I think it had a little black and gray speckle too. I liked the look.

I have a .243 and .264 8T Brux #2 on order, the 243 for a 700 and the 260 for 70 SS Classic. Both will be topped with VX2 2x7 CDS, I have not decided on stocks yet.

I may build an oven and start spraying my own Cerrakote.

I'm not a fan of the speckles.

I really want a some McWood (this is a freebie) but I'm curious to see how well they handle in EDGE. And I know the Sako Classic looks more....classic. But those Sako Hunters are awesome as far as ergos for this guy.

I don't think he even has his wood any longer. I'm pretty sure his cousin has his hands all over his wood.

Actually, I gave it to my nephew. He still lets me fondle it though. I'm sure I'll get it back in time....when he's ready to try something else.

I'm having my 260 finished. I just got the Stiller Tac30 AW action in yesterday. Gonna screw on a fluted Bartlein #4 8.5tw throated for Berger 130's. It's gonna have Stiller DBM and ride in a Manners EH-3 with a Jewel trigger to finish it out. Its ready to go to the smith now. Just gotta wait on him to be ready for it.

The rifle is going to Idaho to be done by Lane Precision Rifles. Our own Waknstack here on the fire. He built my 6.5-284 and does awesome work.
