Didn't ship with the sling but it has the hooks that work with the hook eyes that are factory. Nice find.  The "B" is the year. The "28" is the inspectors number. "salesman model with the two tapped holes behind the bolt." Was it roll engraved? The roll engraved ones usually had the sling swivels. The ones that are just D&T'ed didn't.

Thanks guys, this one makes a couple of Rs expendable. Yes Rick it was the roll engraved one. That is what got my attention, I thought they were all roll engraved. Now that it is correct I have to decide if $1200+ is too much. It really was pretty faded. When the blueing is thin on that roll engraving it looks pretty bad. Thanks for the info.
