Got in 3 miles with the pack, and some nice hills. Six days until the hike in, seven until opening day, I'm gonna start tapering off now.

That combination may give you memories of the trip for a long time. May I suggest you also may want to look into a good gastroenterologist.

Best pick up some extra TP and wipes when you do the last minute grocery shopping.

I do "therapeutic doses" of both. In other words, I only carry enough single malt on my back for a nip or two before bed. Anything more and.......I'm just too old for that sh** any more.

In teams of 2, M/M or F/F, complete the following for time:

Deadlift 21 reps, 225#/155#
21 Handstand Push-ups
Power Clean 15 reps, 185#/125#
15 Handstand Push-ups
Snatch 9 reps, 135#/95#
9 Handstand Push-ups

During the WOD, a partner must always be holding a handstand in order for the partner to do the barbell lifts. Also, a partner must hold a barbell in order for the partner to complete the handstand push-ups. The barbell must be held in a dead hang post deadlifts, in a front rack post power cleans, and in an overhead position post snatches.

12:35. I did all of the barbell work as I'm too fat to spend that much time inverted.

It's not so bad. Sorta addictive though. As my posting can attest, I've been pretty regular in the gym since the beginning of the year. However, I'm still a fatty. I'm just a faster, stronger, can go a bit longer fatty! laugh If I could only buy some food willpower...

I have 3 western hunts this fall. I'm interested to see how I do in the hills as this is quite a departure from what I've done in the past for similar type hunts.
