The 1899 takes one about .630" overall. I don't have any but could shorten one up for ya'. Let me know it that will work.

I still have replacement stock bolts 5/16-22 threads per inch , hex head.
5 1/4" and 8" lengths.
5 1/4" is $10 shipped
8" is $12 shipped
These are more better than the original , no trying to feel for a screwdriver slot that you can't see inside a dark hole & risking a cracked stock.

Would like to buy receiver sight for 99EG, Lyman or redfield. Also a barrel back sling stud and a way to install a swivel at stock without drilling into wood. Thanks in advance, nice website here and group. eric

Welcome to the 'fire scout.
Receiver sights can be had on Gun Broker, Ebay, ect. unless somebody here coughs one up.
I think Lightfoot has forearm swivel screws. PM him.
Levergunleather.com and others offer no drill stock covers, slings, ect.

need a rear sight and elevator for a 1952 EG. PM is the best way to communicate. also would like to put original wood on my 300 if anyone has some laying around. got the barreled action from 300jimmy and it cry's for restoring.
