I see there are several new offerings from Burris this year. Sadly it looks like the Signature and Diamond series are gone for good. New names like Veracity, Droptine, Predator Quest, and C4 Plus have taken their place but are any of them made in the U.S. anymore?

I am a big fan of the Signature and Signature Select lines. Sadly, Burris no longer makes them. I owned two in 1.5-6x, and still use one of them, the Signature Select. I don't think Burris scopes are made in the USA, anymore.

I handled the new line of Burris scopes, I really liked them. They are building what most people want now. They were sharing the booth with Steiner,
Don't give up on them yet , check out their new offerings.

I'm pretty sure Burris bought Steiner. Don't think they were sharing the booth.
Take care, Willie

The Veracity looks interesting, as do the new XTR II's.

I have a Signature Select on my .300 WSM, a Eurodiamond on my .270 WSM, and a pair of Eurodiamond binos. I think they are great scopes and were a great buy at the time. I do have a few FFII's and think they are an okay scope for the money and I was impressed by the FF E1 I looked through at Cabela's. I'm just a little disappointed that all of their manufacturing went over seas.

I think Beretta bought them. They show upon the Beretta family site.

Yeah that happened over a decade ago I think. Then I'm not sure when, but Beretta also purchased Steiner a few years back. I guess maybe now they view Steiner as their premium line and maybe Burris as the entry level.

I believe Burris makes the scopes for Steiner so you may be right about that.

I never owned one, but always wondered how they were regards holding zero and accuracy of adjustments.

Burris doesn't currently make a scope I'd own. Only one offering with a standard plex reticle. The Fullfield II and I had one of those but couldn't stand the whole eyepeice turning to adjust power. Sad really, I liked the older Fullfield and Signature lines.

I couldn't be more disinterested in the stuff Burris is bringing out. It looks like if you don't want little dots on the reticle or to twist knobs before you shoot Burris doesn't have you in mind. Just looking thru a Burris with Ballistic Plex reticle was enough to convince me to never buy one. Don't know how you could possibly see the dots WELL in low light. Right now we have 2 Burris USA scopes w/plain duplex on rifles in the safe and one E1 plain duplex (since discontinued). And I wish they all had a heavier reticle. Bought the E1 planning to have a Heavy Duplex installed but Burris discontinued that reticle. Most likely will be buying American Leupolds for my future needs and pay them to install the reticle I want.

You can actually remove the knob on the C4 and cap it if you want to. It does have wind holds, but you can certainly ignore them too.

That reticle is very light and very busy. Worse for my purposes than the Ballistic Plex. Another one of the Burris selling points I have no desire nor need for. I'm no longer in their target market.

Have you tried it in person, or just seen the pics? They pics are distorted compared to reality. I bought one and it works fine. If they made the outer portions thicker it would be better though.

I've had two of the FFII's (3-9x40 and 4.5-14x42AO). Both lasted one hunting season. Do not like turning the whole eyepeice to adjust power and do not like the Ballistic Plex. Like shootem said "I am not in their target market".
